The existing residence was built to a classic floor plan, with separate kitchen, dining and living rooms that the client felt would be better combined into an open-plan space. The home also needed a complete upgrade to modern standards.
OUR SOLUTION
GDC’s engineers and designers set to work, creating a completely new floor plan for the home that incorporated the original exterior structure while opening up the interior to new space and light. A traditional California-ranch-style home was transformed into a modernized living space, with a large central kitchen open to both the living and dining rooms.
