CLIENT NEED

The client wished to expand their existing Cape Cod-style beach cottage by adding a large kitchen, while maintaining the original classic design aesthetics throughout.

OUR SOLUTION

We created a vaulted ceiling that allowed us to add the kitchen while keeping the original style of the home. We complemented this with custom wainscoting detail, soapstone countertops and decorative tile installed behind the range. We also added a breakfast nook in the same Cape Cod style.

THE ADDED KITCHEN FLOWS SEAMLESSLY FROM THE EXISTING CAPE COD-STYLE HOME.

THE KITCHEN ADDITION IS ALL-NEW CONSTRUCTION AND FEATURES A CUSTOM BUILT-IN FRIDGE, CUSTOM RANGE HOOD, BEADBOARD CEILING AND A LACED-IN, STAINED OAK FLOOR THAT MATCHES THE EXISTING FLOORING.

THE RANGE HAS A CUSTOM HOOD AND IS SURROUNDED BY FLUSH, INSET CABINETS WITH VINTAGE HARDWARE.

THE CUSTOM-MADE BREAKFAST NOOK WAS PART OF THE NEW ADDITION AND HAD TO BE DESIGNED INTO THE KITCHEN REMODEL.
